By the way I had pasted the paragraph I was talking about in my last comment, but it seems to have disappeared. I had put it within <>, maybe that’s an html no-no. I don’t know how else to put a quoted paragraph which itself contains quotation marks.

We didn’t modify anything on this page. We don’t publish anything here and later change our mind by deleting them. We update things around but we will not delete anything that’s already been published unless it is a typo error or a grammatically incorrect sentence that somebody pointed out.

We also do not alter or change anybody’s comments.

Patt, this article has been read by over two thousand people as of this writing before you did. Someone would have pointed this whole thing out and we would have had to shoot ourselves first before writing a direct statement like that against Danny. If we wanted to create a stir by writing such distasteful comment about “milking”, then this whole website defeats the purpose of supporting Danny Gokey. This is a Fan Site for Danny Gokey NOT an anti-danny site. We believe in his talent and we support him all the way to the top.

As we said, there are a lot of people who don’t see what we see in Danny and that’s fine. The difference is we would never bash and trash other American Idol contestants in such a degrading and offensive manner the way they’re doing with Danny. Search for the exact phrase (of the milking) and you’ll find the forum we’re talking about. They don’t just talk about his eye wear there but things you would never even digest if you’re someone with decency and heart. Danny was a regular guy before idol, they don’t know him. Just because he’s on TV now does NOT give them the right to accuse him of anything or write negative things about him which are baseless and clearly tasteless. That’s manipulative!

Thank you for sharing your concern anyway. Just wish you see our view as well…

18 pairs of glasses at $400 each at least, all with the same prescription (since he can switch from one to the other), that’s $7200 within the last (approx.) 5 years. Allow us to doubt that he really bought them all. Especially since we don’t see any of these designer glasses in any of his pictures on the web (and there are lots) before he was on AI. He had those boring conservative thing chrome frames in his pictures for his religious organization.

I like glasses, so I’m always interested in people who collect them. That’s my angle.

Exactly because we found it incredulous to question such. It’s none of any body’s business. We said:

Their words not ours. These are direct quotes and you only need to search it on Google to find the forum where they were talking about it. We’re not gonna list the site here because we don’t want to glorify it. You think it’s all right to accuse anyone of “milking” the supporters of his dead wife for designer eyewear money…??! We’re not manipulating anyone’s feelings, we wrote it because we thought that was distasteful to write of anyone. Seriously, you need to read the article again because you totally missed the point.

Don’t be naive to disregard the “haters” and cover for them. There are tons of anti-Danny Gokey people out there. You just know how to find them. They’re the ones bashing and talk trashing and manipulating others to agree with them! The things they say are really harsh for anybody to fathom.
