The Week in Idol Music Downloads

Over the past week, former Idol contestants have received many track downloads according to Nielsen SoundScan. Jordin Sparks‘ single, “Battlefield,” jumped 87 percent, surpassing 100,000 for the week and a half-million since release. Two other Battlefield tracks, “Walking on Snow” and “S.O.S. (Let the Music Play)”, also made the list of SoundScan’s most downloaded tracks of the week. Current American Idol Kris Allen made the list with “Heartless“, which more than doubled its digital scans from the previous week.
