Happy Birthday, Lil Rounds!

Fresh off the American Idols LIVE! 2009 tour, Lil Rounds has accomplished a lot in just 25 years. The wife and mother of three little kids has survived a tornado, Season 8 auditions, and Simon Cowell. In fact, Simon admitted to being a big fan of Lils voice from the very beginning. Lils performance of Mary J. Bliges Be Without You advanced her from the Top 36 to the Top 13 finalists. Lil made it all the way to the Top 7, and she got to perform with Queen Latifah during the American Idol season finale.

While on tour this summer, Lil showed off her powerful vocals, singing songs by Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, and Beyonce to arenas of fans in 50 cities. Now that the tour is over, Lil has been meeting with music executives and is beginning to work on an album. We caught up with Lil as she was touring around the country.
