Double the ‘Idol’ on Tuesdays in March and April

As we gear up for Hollywood week, Fox announced several more two-hour episodes slated for Season 9.

The Top 12 performance show on March 16 will start a four-week run of two-hour Tuesdays, continuing on to March 23, March 30 and April 6.

The network has not revealed the "American Idol" schedule beyond the first week in April, when the top nine will perform, with the exception of "Idol Gives Back," which will air April 21.
